KNX 6743 Music Video

MG Corporation engaged Grand Trine Creative to facilitate KNX 6743, a community-led music video project created with the deadly young people of Kununurra in December 2025.

This project explores what it means to be strong, and how the choices we make can shape our health, wellbeing, and future. Through music, movement, language, and storytelling, the young people lead the narrative, sharing their voices with pride and purpose.

The language chorus was written by Shae, Amara, and Glennis from the Miriwoong Gajerrong Language Centre, and performed by the incredibly talented Kerissa Carlton.

Chorus: Miriwoong Language (performed by Kerissa Carlton): Berrthalb yarroondayan goonoonoora-gelaj ngenayima dawanga Miriwoong dawam – “We are all strong like the river, here on Miriwoong Country.”

This project was proudly supported by:

  • MG Corporation
  • 54 Reasons
  • Horizon Power
  • Wunan Foundation
  • Ord Valley Aboriginal Health Service – OVAHS

This is stony country – when I walk across this country where the creeks and the floodwaters have been there are lots of rocks and little stones. Lots of those stones are beautiful coloured ones. We call them gerany. Gerany is also the word for money.
